I'm trying to find out if anyone has added in OEM "remote connect" remote start, tracking and alarm features to a Tacoma that originally only came with the safety connect and wifi and no remote start via app or fob.

I'm aware of the aftermarket options but am curious if anyone has added in the modules and reprogrammed the vehicle features so that they can use the Toyota app to remotely start, locate or receive alarm notifications.

Guessing no, and haven't heard of anyone doing so. Cost would be multiple times higher then N2, or 12Volt solutions.

Yeah I'm thinking of going the computer route for a comprehensive alarm and remote start solution.
