2007 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab Replace Rear Door/Rear Door Panel

Hi, sorry if this was already posted but I looked and did not find a similar post. I was backed into when I was in college. Once again because I was in college I got it patched by an absolute amateur. It has been a lumpy eyesore ever since. Now I am looking to replace the door or panel. I am not exactly too experienced but I've done most the work on my truck as of late with no issues. I am hoping to replace the door or panel myself. I believe that the dent is only superficial so I believe it would just need an outer panel replacement. How would I go about doing this? Are there any videos or notes I could reference?

 

To see and understand what it takes to remove / replace the outter skin on a vehicle, I'd start with videos on the process for any vehicle. For an experienced paint / body repair tech that has the tools and experience it's probably not a big deal. If your looking to replace the entire door, I'd look for door in salvage yards. A Door Skin replacement is not an easy job - and definitely not something one can do at home. Said another way, there are more ways to do it wrong than right. In fact, most collision shops replace the whole door instead of just the skin these days. I'd search for a complete door. Trust me, it's waaay easier.
