jack up the truck from the frame so the load comes off the leaf pack a bit.
I use Red N Tacky aerosol with the little stray attachment.

Spray the end tips where it curls inward to the leafs, most of the squeak I get is from there.
Pry each leaf to expose the isolator pads and spray directly on top of the pads.
Pry closer to the center of the pack and give each leaf a blast of lube as close to the center as you can.

I don't get any squeaks until I hit up some real mud caked trails and have to really blast my truck with the pressure washer.
Could add it to your list of general maintenance when you do oil changes and tire rotation too if you want, really doesn't take more than 2mins to do.

I appreciate everyone's contributions to this thread. After 5 or so years my Dakar EL095 pack with the yellow isolators had been getting noisy for a while. I had been lubing and greasing them over the last few years with only minimal improvement that was short lived. Some of the isolators had worn down to the point they no longer had grooves in them to hold grease.

I just installed the Dorman Isolators today and first impressions are silent. Hopefully long term this proves to be a permanent solution.

    Update,

The isolators appear to be doing an excellent job of keeping most of the noise away. However, they have allowed me to pinpoint my poly leaf bushings as the remaining source of noise under flex. I've been able to confirm this by soaking only these areas with penetrating oil and achieving short lived silence.

I will attempt to use a needle attachment on my grease gun to see if I can inject grease between the sides of the bushings and the shackle mounts.

Doing everything I can to avoid dropping the packs again, lol.

Yeah mine are extremely squeaky for awhile now. They’ve been in a lot of mud, snow and water crossings. I spray them with red and tacky every once in a while.

Red and Tacky spray does the trick for me as well. A recent trip to Yosemite had mine singing like birds...power wash, and a blast of Red and Tacky...all is good again!!

I have a horrible creaking/clicking sound in my new rough country 3.5” leaf springs. I know rough country’s aren’t the most expensive but this noise seems to be a bit excessive for any quality spring.
I’m pretty certain it isn’t the bushings and I will be spraying the leafs with fluid film today to find out. it’s definitely more of a clicking sound than a creaking sound which is really weird and I’ve never heard before in any spring.

With regards to the bushing squeak that some people get, had anybody attempted to drill through the wrap at the end of the leaf right to the centre of the bushing and install a grease nipple then grease the pin on a regular basis?
Of course, remove the bolt before doing so.

    Cheers,
    C.

I used WD40 white lithium grease & I haven’t heard it since on my factory leafs.

I sprayed fluid film on my springs today, on the pads and in between the leafs, not in the bushing but at the top of the leaf towards the bushing and the creek went away for a while, it’s back very, very mildly, but it is still back
