    Good afternoon everyone!

I am hoping someone has some knowledge on a question I have about a shock upgrade I’m going to be working on. I bought some of the stock Bilstein blue and yellow shocks from a newer TRD Offroad for my 2013 SR5, and was wondering if the coil springs pictures will work for them. I’m having a hard time finding any information about this out. All it says on the website is they’re not for use for OEM style shocks, which I’m assuming are the stock black shocks. Not sure if the bilsteins fall under that category or not. If these do not work, would you be able to point me in the direction of some of good quality that will fit? Thanks in advance!

IMO, RockAuto is pretty legit when it comes to being accurate on what part is or is not applicable. Without researching, it may be due to the (lack of) lenght and/or the diameter of the stock shock. The 6112 and 8112 are performance setups and the Tacoma factory Bilstein (IMO) definitely is not.

There's a suspension thread here on TW that may offer more insight to your question.
