Hello all! Not exactly certain how I should start this whole thing so to keep it simple, I'm out of South Texas, 35 years old and just now getting out of my "big truck, bigger is better" phase. Since I was a kid I've run nothing but diesel Chevy's, Rams or Fords. However, the old ranch truck that I used daily past 315,000 miles was a 2WD, long bed, 5 speed Nissan pickup truck...and I loved it. I still have a 2016 F250 diesel that is my baby, but literally today I've traded the 2017 F350 in on a 2019 Tacoma with manual transmission. I'll keep the book short here, but this forum above all forums, sites or YouTube videos has helped me the most in my decision to move forward on the Tacoma. This is a decision I should've made a long time ago! I am from Texas but currently in Williston, ND working for an energy company...so any advice for a Southern bird who flew north for the winter in a Tacoma would be greatly appreciated! Also, being new to the "TACO" family, what should I know about the community (Maybe this should be in another thread). Anyways, thanks all and I look forward to being a part of the community!

Welcome! The community is great for the most part. Beware of the critical cynics and uptight wads. More of them here than in the diesel community. My real baby is the 06 6.6 Lbz. Diesel brother out
