Hello, thought I'd introduce myself. I Picked up a 2002 Tacoma recently and so far love it. I had a 2013 DCLB Tacoma Sport that I bought new, but sold it a few years later and bought a Tundra, then got another Tundra. I recently traded the Tundra in on a new 4runner and then went looking for a 1st Gen. Tacoma, as I've always wanted one and wanted something to transport the dogs in.

I'm already itching to make some changes to the 2002 Tacoma as the budget allows. The guy I bought it from added a 3 inch lift and I'd like to reduce that to around 1.5". It also has BFG Mud Terrain tires on it that I'd like to swap out to something more for road driving, probably switch the wheels at that time too. I want to get a camper shell/topper for it for the dogs, but finding a used one has so far proven most difficult. It also currently has a brush guard on it and I'd eventually like to put steel bumpers on the front and rear.

I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions as I try and do this, and the search function here has already helped a lot. The most confusing thing so far is the different wheels that fit, but I'll get there.
