No sir. I have the 2 bars... that I haven't yet installed. Do I need 3? I could see the value.

    Wanna split a kit?

That’s what I was thinking. My awning should have three attachments.

To make sure you have the RSI load bars? Not Frontrunner.

I didn’t see an advantage of one over the other. Just a matter of availability. Front Runner risers are a couple mm taller.

I’ve had my SmartCap for 2 years, 2 months now and I just started to notice the passenger side door doesn’t sit flush when closed anymore. Driver side seems to be fine. I also noticed some odd deformation in passenger side panel.

I checked the latches and it looks like they have some adjustment in them but haven’t touched those yet.
    IMG_3286.jpg

I assume this is from hard driving off-road but I check and tighten all the bolts regularly, so this is a bit disappointing considering it’s out of warranty now and what these things cost.

    Anyone else experience this?

Start by adjusting that screw on the latch. It looks like it might be maxed out, but if not, adjusting it will "suck" the panel in tighter.

As for the deformations, I'm pretty sure those were there new. Mine has similar deformations. My assumption is that it's the result of minor warping, resulting from the welding effort.

Adjust that bolt on the latch. They will move a little if not locktighted down.

Anyone have tips for sealing the tailgate and cab-end (gaps on either side) of the bed for leaks and dust? I remember there was some discussion in this thread a while back but can't remember what page numbers they were.

    Thanks in advance!

I did not seal the gaps around the tailgate but I did stuff butyl tape in the gaps near the cab. I don't have any issue with water getting into the bed around the tailgate.
