I finally got all of the wires ran to the back, but I had forgot to make sure the amp would fit in the driver side bin behind the back seat.

The only thing that comes to mind at the moment is to cut a slot out on each side. Then maybe use rubber and epoxy to make pockets for the amp to squeeze into.

It almost fits, another half inch of room is all it really needs.

The JL Stealthbox is designed to fit in the passenger side bin, so I really don't want to do away with the bins.

Do you guys see any issue with doing this as long as the amp isn't bouncing around?

It can't go vertical because of the metal latch.

Which amp? How about under the drivers seat instead?

    It is 15" x 7"
All of the adjustments are on the top-face under a beauty panel that you have to remove to adjust.
I ran everything to the back already, so I will probably just try this idea and see if it will work out.
If not, I may have to just carpet the back wall and be done with it. I have been at it for three days so far.
Sound-proofing the front doors and back wall was the most time consuming. I ran out of Killmat before I got the back doors and back floors done.

I like that idea of using some Velcro also. I wouldn't have thought about that. Thanks!

I am still having an issue with that Joying 11.6

Joying support asked for the harness info.

I still haven't had time to cut through the set of wires on the car's canbus to see if I can get the backup-cam to go off. I did find a wire that I cut and the door open visual alert on the Joying HU started working.

I still need to find time to try those different canbus codes also and see what other functions may start working.

I also want to see what Joying support says, they take about five days then usually ask me some basic question that my information has already answered, then you wait five more days. They have been fairly slow to offer support.

I vote under the seat also ,
Mine has been there for over a year. Once you make your adjustments you will probably not touch the amp again, and if you need to you can unbolt the seat and lean kit backwards.

Yeah, It would have to go above those vents and I would need to make legs for towards the back of the seat.
I will check it and see how much it would be sticking out.

Yo, What are those plastic trays that are mounted in the back metal wall behind the back seats?

I put strips of the Killmat on them to hold them "incase they might rattle", but I have no idea what they are.

I am about to go out and do some more work on the wiring this morning.

I think you're referring to the vents.

Cool, I didn't cover them, I just put a few thin strips of killmat to keep them from shaking.

I have to finish epoxying the rubber tonight and I will probably use zip ties and a wood block to support the amp.

It isn't going to be the best looking install, but functional at the least.
