I just installed some 4Runner energy bumpstops on my 96 Tacoma. Was wondering if you guys think this going to work until I get enough cash for some duro bumps? Currently sitting on icon 2.5 coil overs.

Drive around and if it feels fine you should be good to go. You'll know right away if you like it or not. It's a bump stop lol.

    4 run, 2 don't
So...you bought bumpstops for the rear of a 4Runner, and use them on the front of your Tacoma and don't even know what year 4Runner

Stock would've been fine until you could afford the right ones

Yeah it says right on the box those are for the rear, I wondered how that would work since they're so tall. Since you have a 2 1/2" lift it might be OK but they will stop early for sure. I'd be concerned they might split or something when you go out bashing.
