What’re the specifics on your J-Frame Humpback? I have a modern 638, but a blued version has been on my mind for a long time. Beautiful gun!

I just picked up a Ruger American Ranch in 556 and researching stocks. Your Magpul seems to be very popular both for fit, feel and economics. Weight is often mentioned. Out of the box with scope and mag my RAR is right at 7#. Swapping out for the Magpul Hunter stock bumps it up to 8.5#. The RAR 556 has a shorter 16" barrel than your 6.5. Does your rifle feel heavy, are you mostly bench rest with it? Love the look, do you like the stock, performance and adjustability. I have been delaying hitting the buy button for several days. Tks.

I've only put 100 rounds through the gun and mainly from the bench. Haven't hiked into my tree stand with it yet, but I can tell you it IS heavy. The heavy barrel profile is most of the weight. 13.5 lbs loaded, with the suppressor and bipod. As far as the stock goes, it feels very solid. Feels like you could drop it and not have to worry about it breaking. It's comfortable to shoot and the adjustability is nice. Shot some very nice groups at 500 yards. I guess it depends on the purpose of the rifle, but for a plinker/bench gun, I wouldn't worry about the extra pound or two. If anything, it helps.

My new EDC pistol. Bought it for my mom, so when she was looking at it I didnt do much more than hold it to see how I liked the feel, I did, but the research into them wasn't that thorough as she is 80 and I just wanted her to have a good reliable gun in her house.
It's to hard for her to rack the slide so she gave it back to me. Then I loaded it up and stuck it apendix carry in my board shorts. Didn't sag them at all. Turns out it is the perfect CCW pistol for me. IMO.
12+1, I carry +P Winchester Ranger HP rounds in it. Thing is awesome IMO. Only thing I don't like is it's the one with the safety, trying to get a buddy to buy this one so I can get the one with no safety, but its not a deal breaker kind of thing.
Haven't done any mods to it, if I do it will be the trigger, but thats not mandatory, its a smoot just under 5lb pull as is.

The P365 is my EDC. I am looking at the P365x for my stay at home gun.

I believe they are like glock, if its long enough you can use them throughout their line. Obviously a shorter one wont fit into a gun that takes a longer mag.

You can just get a new grip module without the safety. You don’t have to get a whole new gun.

Sig very cleverly serializes the fire control unit instead of the whole lower so you can swap grips unlike most hand guns.

I’m in the market for a good .22lr precision rifle. I’ve read and watched reviews and the Cz457 comes up quite a bit, but finding one isn’t easy. Also I’m left handed and prefer left bolt, semi auto right hand is find as long as the stock doesn’t have a big swell for the right handers.

I’d go .17hmr as well, don’t matter as long as it’s decent out of the box and fairly easy to upgrade if needed(trigger block etc etc)

    Thanks for any opinions/experiences

CZ now makes a lefty. Grab a gun might have one. Ruger makes a left hand competition and Savage has a lefty as well. My sons both have savage 17’s. They are tack drivers. But I love the fit and finish of CZ firearms

The p365 safeties can be removed, easy YouTube video instructions to do it if you want no saftey. Then just find a grip w/o the cutout if you don't want the hole.
