Now when you say fry the oysters.. what variety are they? I love the rocky mountain species.

Yeah, I have had those before. Mine are much better. Get the small variety in a quart jar and use cracker meal and get the big iron skillet out with the burner on the patio and have at it! Wife makes the cocktail sauce. However, you can use the cocktail sauce with the Rocky Mountain kind too. Actually, maybe the name originated with the Rocky mountain variety...

Health teacher in school carefully did a comb over with about 14 strand of hair 10" long - he was also a gym teacher, when outside they would fly like a flag in the wind.

I had Beatles style long hair in my youth.
That was until I was working under an old truck and dumped 25 year old gear oil out of the transmission into it... :puke:

I am in! I will need directions to your house and you can approve of the dish if you like. I do make a pretty good baked haddock and since you have oysters already that works well. I do not use any of that flash frozen haddock either. Freshly caught that day. Or I have a few different desert recipes that would be pretty good. Maine to South Carolina will be a good road trip but I have done it before!

Pretty sure we would get along just fine. The problem is the rest of my family. Let's put it this way... If I were in Maine, and I had the choice of driving to Greg's Place in South Carolina to eat a Thanksgiving meal but Greg's sister-in-law was going to be there....
I would be eating Lobster rolls and watching football in Maine. #thedevilyouknow

That just got me to thinking, my wife and I both have a brother in law but not a sister in law on either side. My brothers wife left 20+ years ago and her brother and his wife split this past year.

Reminds me of some comedic skits that suggest certain bands who should tour together because of their names. I could not find anything on the web for the comedian I remember but I did find another one on YouTube. Here is a link to that one:

The two bands I do remember the other comedian suggested should play together was.....Madonna, and....

    ....Supertramp!

Tried to insert a spoiler but evidently I do not know how to do that....:pout:
