Yes, as Chew shows the h9 is the high beam lamp. Pull the green insert in your low beam wiring harness plug to install h9's in low beam

yep that's what I'm going by. SO the H9 in the low beam position will be 10 watts brighter? So I may upset a few oncoming drivers?

I never had a problem with on-coming traffic.

You can put them in the lows if you pull out the green tab from the electrical connector. Then you can run H9 in high and low. I wouldn't think you'd upset oncoming drivers but people are getting more and more upset these days so who knows. The low beam projector has a pretty sharp cutoff.

The aim will be fine. It's still reflecting the same way as a H11 but just more light. Generally they will burn out faster.

I did the H11 to H9 on my F150 and they are a little brighter. They sell them at Menards for $10 a pop so a third of the price of a good H11 but much brighter.:)

Thanks all for the quick replies and for not making fun of me.

    I'll pull the green tab.
