Idle issues and more

I wouldn't do anything and would get the dealership to resolve it. Try another dealer if you need to.

 

Both my 23 18 and 15(2nd gen) have a slight vibration/shake at idle while stopped in drive. Some notice it, some don't. Put the truck in park or in N and idles as smooth as glass.

The vibe is very slight but can be felt in the seats mostly. It also doesn't do it right when I stop, take a few seconds before it happens.

To me the RPMs on these trucks drop a bit to low when in Drive and stopped.

My 2019 silverado did the same exact thing.

Mine was pretty dirty at 40k miles.

 

There’s a tsb that states the leaf springs will be replaced and a steering wheel damper will be placed behind the air bag . It fixed the vibration on deceleration I had on my 2022 sr5. The tsb recently was changed to add 2023 models to it.

 

To add, I don't have any deceleration issues with mine. Other than the intermitted vibe when stopped at lights the truck is flawless driving wise.

 

Does your trunk idle at it's worst (or this only happens) when you have a full tank of fuel?
