I can understand the vehicle sat to long allowing the salt to pit the rotors

Down here a few days not driving the rotors are covered with surface rust .

I could see winter Chemicals pit the rotor in a few days.

Not since 1968 did I put up Christmas lights .

To me it was just time for that week off of school.

Then when I started working Christmas was most often a work day for me . Always was a voluntary day so many of us so far from home worked the well paying day.

No argument from me but the Mrs brought up a good point:
    • The Vehicle is a 2016 - roughly 8 years old (bought new)
    • First brake service (changing rotors and pads) was last year and roughly 40K miles
    • Now, one year and 5K miles, new rotors (and pads likely) needed
Why the need to replace now if the first set went 7 years and 40K miles?

    Re: new poll….

Why put up lights in moderate temps when I can wait for the day after Thanksgiving and chance the sub-arctic conditions that are inevitable…(or at least used to be inevitable 15 years ago…)

Good early morning Wrenchmen, I haven't been shop night watchman for a while now -- until today...

Texas born Rock, Blues, Country & Americana singer Delbert McClinton turns 83 today, with a career spanning over 60 years he is still out there performing. :rockband:

Here's hoping y'all perform at something good today. :)

Good morning and welcome to the weekend every :hattip:

Last day for major lawn operations. Whether it gets done or not, I’m calling it for this season :anonymous:

Don’t be that guy or gal, change your clocks back an hour tonight.

I hate the time change, I wish they would leave it the way it is now.
Now it's go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. How depressing is that?

Going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark.
When I was working I left for work at 5 am and got off at around 6:30 pm. Dark drive both ways.

We lost our best little rat dog Koda last night. He passed on his own at home, all things considered about as much as you can ask for. Tough time for us all.

Sorry for your loss, it's never easy. They give us years of love and joy and it hurts when they go. They are a part of us.
