I NEED 75s love how they look. Now with this thread def going for that size on Geolandar MT. Going to need cmc and pinch weld. Im on Eibach stage 2 (2.5 lift) would I need to trim the fenders?

    In short? Definitely.

I have 285/75/17 BFG MTs with a 2.5" to 3" AllDogs lift and have a CMC and pinch, but I also had to knock back some of the inner rear wheel well, and also had to trim away some of the rear inner front fenders.

I still rub a tiny bit if I hit a big obstacle while cranked lock to lock.

I’ll be doing that prep before buying the tires then.

The more I read this thread the more i am confused on my situation. I picked up a 2020 TRD Pro yesterday with 19k miles like new condition, and it has a set of Toyo 285/75R/16 tires. The tires are shot pretty much so I ordered a set of BFG KO2 AT (285/75R/16). The previous owner put a crappy spacer lift on which looks to be 2 1/2 to 3", but the tires fit perfectly with no rubbing and there are no signs of pinch weld mods or inner fender adjustments. As soon as I get the new tires on, I will be looking into a proper lift. Had a 3" Toytec on my 4Runner with 285s and those fit fine with no adjustments needed (Probably not going with Toytec again though). Any thoughts on how this previous owner made these fit with no real adjustments? I would love your input on Lift recommendations for this setup (I realize thats like asking which oil to use, but lay it on me.)
Anyway here's the new (To Me) TRD.

This thread is primarily related to 35's but it all applies. Don't worry about reading the whole thread just start at the beginning. Or you could go to www.jdfabrication.com and research the lower control arm mount. Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s | Page 862 | Tacoma World

Sorry I did notice that after I posted this. I think I will stick with this size for at least the next year or so, since I really love the 16in wheels. Just need to get rid of this horrid spacer lift the previous owner decided on.

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure that is an actual Pro?

I only ask and others who are more knowledgeable may correct me because I'm definitely not usually the sharpest crayon in the box, but I have a 2020 and AFAIA the 2020 Pro only came in 1 color and that was Army Green.
I could be wrong here but that has always been my understanding.

Yes I am sure it is a Pro.

The colors for 2020 came in the following:

Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, and Army Green

Do you mind sharing your lift specs? Your truck sits exactly how I'd like mine to be.

    For sure man.

    SPC UCA’s

I have right around 2.75” of lift. Very happy with how it turned out. I wanted to keep some rake since I load the bed up for camping/offroad trips, same reason I opted for the HD leaf pack.

Anyone here run ridge grapplers after ko2’s? I’ve always ran BFGoodrich, but load range c is super appealing…

Love the 255/80/17 size. Just throwing it out there.
This is the 33.1" size that gives you the most clearance under the 2 pumpkins, where it counts...:burnrubber:

Feel like I’m asking a similar question to others before, but going to anyway for my specifics.

I have a 2.5in lift in front and 2in rear with 0 offset 4.75in backspace wheels. Lil B’s hybrid bumper in front so fully trimmed up there. Aggressive CMC scheduled where pinch welds will be knocked back too. Running Ironman UCAs currently which should be good to run 11.5in width tires just fine. Though I might change them to DK or Icon; not sure.

Should I be expecting any real issues with fitment? I don’t mind knocking back the rear-facing liner in front. Probably don’t mind cutting the fender to be honest but would rather not.

Floating between these 285/75r17 and 255/80r17. I don’t wheel a ton since I never have time, but I do care about fitment when I do. A bit more tire size for clearance probably doesn’t matter if I keep smacking shit in the wells.

And tbh, I’m more worried about clearance under full stuff in the rear.
