My father was diagnosed with this almost 25 years ago. He was already on disability, so he had Medicare. I remember him doing chemo. I don't recall him doing the other two treatments, but, they may not have been available then.

So finally caught up with all the posts. I think I was 65 pages down a few days ago.
We need an Ugh button along with the Like. Some of the crap you all are dealing with I want to show I'm supporting you but don't want to hit Like. Seems too impersonal.
    Hang in there!

Dump run done. Rio gets cookies from the scale guy.

Stopped at the garage and to ask about my gouge price on wheels & tires from Jerry. LOL
I also asked him how his biopsy went. They caught it. Operable and cureable. Cool.
    So we traded cancer stories.
Then he says how about $200 for the set,of 5. Cool. Another guy wants the tires and will remove all for us. Cool.
My ballpark $2000 for wheels & tires is in there. Cool, well, everything is pricey.
Used to pay $60 for a tire.

Then talked to a rancher bud who has his shoulder being rebuilt. And more cancer talk.
We're all doing good, all things considered.

    70's in NM in Nov.
    Life is good.

Did I ever say morning all?

Dealing with this vertigo is weird.

Tried the Epley maneuver, seems to be effective, turning my head to the left while laying down starts the spinning, stops after 30 sec. But that is a hell of a ride for 30 seconds.

Yeah my dad had multiple myeloma due to radiation exposure in the 60s on subs.

I have Mantle Cell lymphoma. The bone marrow transplant would be harvesting my stem cells then heavy radiation to kill all my bone marrow after which they would reintroduce my stem cells which to regrow the bone marrow.

great to hear you are in remission, congrats

Well my part of the front end rebuild is over I think but some glossy black and some greasy could look better. But as long as it drives good and doesn’t eat tires I’m going to be tickled to death!!IMG_1918.jpgIMG_1919.jpg

No, you could do it anyway, but you need to save the money for your house down payment…

hmmm, sure $5K will get you a nice machine, but the real high end machines are more like $20K.:spending: Mom’s big into quilting, I was shocked when she told me how much she invested in her machines. And M&D said to say hi back.:)

It’s not so bad this time around, we “Fall back” and gain an hour. Which to me, is way better than the Spring forward BS!
