I camped on the beach across Cook Inlet from there.

Alaska is gorgeous. I’d move there in a heartbeat.

that said I’d see what arrangements there are for time off when you’re there. That park is really isolated - no roads go there. Hopefully they’ll have regular flights to anchorage you can hop on.

 

Obviously but Alaska is very remote. Like think of it this way, you want to travel to a town 2 hours away in the lower 48, you have a couple different routes to choose from. Interstate, highways, or back roads. In alaska, to get between two towns there is one road. One. If there is a road at all.

Don't get me wrong Alaska is beautiful and evokes a primordial instinct in a man when he is there. I loved visiting. It would be a big culture change for anyone from the lower 48 to move there.

 

@Ozark_RegCab @0xDEADBEEF Primetime weekend. Finding new places in the Ozarks. The woods were full of hunters driving ATVs. There were at least 20 all driving in a row dressed in camo and orange. I don't know what they were hunting. It damn sure wasn't deer.

 

The fall foliage was amazing last weekend in SE Missouri. Worked with the rain for something very special.

I've never had Geico, but my brother worked for them for several years and has some stories. Mostly not good. Then again I think anyone who works for an insurance company probably has more bad stories than good ones

I hate that these time switches seem to come more and more often.

 

Yeah; kiddo sleeps a good 8 hours a night.

When he woke up this morning, I looked at my phone and it was 7:22am so I was like wtf?

Go to the kitchen and it said 8:22am so yeah, he slept his 8 hours but freaking time change threw me off for a bit

That and it made sense why Bronx was grunting as he had been waiting to be fed too.

 

Same. I am an hour early for everything this morning. Then It'll get dark at 4:30.

 

Only thing I'm really hating about this is I'm still troubleshooting my cnc table issues.

I'm that considerate neighbor that will not run power tools or anything until 10am, or after that.

And I never run tools when it's dark.

Yeah even if my neighbors to my right are already up early and leaving the house, or my neighbor to the left is already gone (he owns several businesses out of town too), I still like to be considerate of all others.

So...twiddling my thumbs

 

Same, although I have put a lot of thought into it and I don't think it's the time change as much as the lack of daylight that is my issue.
