    Hello all!
I have a 2022 TRD off road with 14000 miles and a high pitched whine around 40-45 mph, but goes away after that.
All bone stock, I have not done anything to her. It does it with the windows open too, so it isn't wind noise. Dealer says its tire cupping. I have had other 4WD's and never had this type of noise from tire cupping, it was always more of a hum. Has anyone dealt with this issue?......

Rear end noise. Most do it. I've had two 3rd gens do it. Some people have had the dealer replace the rear end under warranty for it to only come back a couple miles later. Earlier 3rd gens had a TSB for some sound isolators.

As Autograph said, turn up the radio!

I had the same problem yesterday with a whining sound coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle while the truck was moving. My wife was in the passenger seat. :anonymous:

maybe it is the tires. are they the OE wranglers, actually cupping, and why at 14K miles? if so, i would try to address this first.

Whining can be common at that age.

Occasionally worse for women than men, but not always.

But so much in 3rd and 4th gen forums recently I'm excited to see what happens when the 4th actually arrives! Expect @tcBob to have a cheese concession available.

Mine has done it since day 1 … it happens around 49mph . Took it to the dealer multiple times they could never give me answer on it . Had differential fluids changed part of maintenance . Noise still remained it’s definitely coming from the differential . I’m at 45k miles still going strong noise remains . I have learned just to live with it .
