    Hello,

Has anybody here experienced the noise coming from the engine bay when idling? I removed the bumper, right fender, and right fender liner to check where the noise came from but I still have no idea where the noise came from. The noise came from the right front passenger side of the vehicle.

Grab the air box where it goes into the fender.
Pull up or push down on it. See if the noise gets quieter or goes away.
It may be the air box intake vibrating.

Air box… that really sounds like plastic rattling

I think, I found the problem ya’ll stated. As I held the intake, the rattle noise went away; therefore, I think if I replace the cushion that separate the metal fender and plastic intake, it will solve the problem. Do you know what is the part for this?

Just buy some stick on foam weatherstripping from HomeDepot or Lowe’s.
    Problem solved.

    Honestly, I’m a hack.
    I don’t care anymore.
I’d wedge something between the pipe and fender and call it a day.

Styrofoam pipe insulation,,,,pipe noodle, they are split down the middle.
Find a piece about 5-8 inches long. Slap it down in

I used duct tape to wrapped the intake with some pipe noodle and some leftover sound deadening. Will wait and see. Thank you guys

The same thing happened to my truck, it’s a common issue when the foam gets worn out makes an annoying sound, I used electrical tape instead, more durable and conducts heat better.

Same. Just replaced the foam to keep the intake from rubbing/vibrating against the body of the truck.
