That's just hilarious! When I was looking for a truck, I knew I wanted a Tacoma but I still test drove other truck, both full and mid-size.

I noticed that F-150s, Silverados, Dakotas, and Frontiers didn't have that much ground clearance at all, escpecially because of the air dams they have.

I have an 06 TRD Sport, DC, 4x4 - stock (suspension-wise) and I have a pretty good approach angle and ground clearance (I replaced my tires w/ BFG A/T 265/70/17). Some of my friends/family have even asked me if it had a small lift.

I love our Tacomas!
