Makes me wonder if the paint is thinner or not as hard as paint on past vehicles.

I think my volvo station wagon had the best metal - paint of any vehicle ive ever owned. It was a michigan car and not a dab of rust. And only a handful of rock chips on the hood at 270k miles.

 

The days of going to the Mall are fading fast. More and more Malls are going bankrupt, COVID changed the way we all do business. Just in my area, there are at least 3 large Malls that are no more, being bulldozed and something new being built. The ones that still exist have more empty space than full. It's a shame. But for me I've always hated shopping at stores with a passion! Thank God for Amazon and online shopping! If Amazon had a "Power Shopper" designation, I'd have been one of the first!!

 

To be honest I've never been a fan of flatbeds on these trucks, but yours looks very good. And I like the addition of the tent. How hard is it to take off? How long does it take? And, I love the tall garage ceiling, it's so nice that you can open the tent inside!

 

I love it! Very clean installation! How long and how hard was the install? I'm looking to add onboard air one day, do a lot of airing down to ride on the beach, have a portable ARB compressor, but onboard would be much better. If you don't mind me asking, how much $$$ did the whole install cost? TIA!

I feel ya! I've always been anal about keeping my vehicles clean, inside and out. Didn't matter if it's a work truck or personal vehicle, I know every square inch of sheet metal and notice everything!

 

So, you know that feeling you get when you feel like someone is watching you?? Now I know why!! Well, at least they can't bust me this time!!

285/75/17 km3 installed yesterday.
No issues rubbing. Already had cmc and some trimming . My wheels are 0 offset . May run some 1-1/4 spacers to see if I like the look before getting new wheels .

 

Crap I can't believe I screwed that up. Thank you!!! I took it down recently for some stuff. I know I had it the other way previously.

 

Engine is running rough after stalling it on some rock obstacles in 4low. So far I have changed the spark plugs and air filter. I will be cleaning the MAF today and I will unplug the battery to reset the ECU. Wish me luck.

 

Last post didn't have the spark plugs. I think they are the originals with 105K miles. Still running rough after putting new ones in.

 

I went to big o and boy did i wish I hadn't. What an (ongoing) unmitigated disaster that's been. Who knew getting tires could be such an ordeal. Next time it's discount for sure!

 

Same here. I don't really like the look of mud guards, but I am definitely thinking of putting them on the truck now. I have had them sitting in a box in the garage for months. This may finally get me to install those things.

 

Same here. My work truck is known as one of the cleanest ones we have, especially inside. I don't have to share it with anyone, which is a huge bonus. Some of these guys just trash the inside of theirs. I don't get it.
