TRD PRO OEM LED Headlights, Where to buy?

High Flying turn signals were on Prime sale a few weeks ago at $30ish a set ($32 or $35). I had them in my cart, but did not pull the trigger in time.
I am waiting till BF to see if they go on sale again.

 

No I haven't received it yet, next week when I get back from work I pick it up but I like having the brightest lights possible so I guess I'm not necessarily looking for the a replacement housing but just the bulbs... does that change your opinion?

 

No. Drive OEM set up before you decide to change anything. I do not think that OEM LED fog housing uses a replaceable LED bulb. You will need to replace the whole thing. Factory LED headlight provides PLENTY of light (both low and high beams are LED). Factory LED fogs are aimed properly and provide light on the sides, down low and cover areas not covered headlights. The only change I can see doing to fogs, is adding yellow film on the factory fogs, to make them more useful in real foggy conditions.That's not an issue for me, but using truck at night in the orchard is, so white light works better for me.

Fogs are NOT driving lights.
If you need more light on the road than provided by factory LED headlights, you need auxiliary/driving lights, but they cannot be used in town/with incoming cars. You would be running high beam-like lights.

I am running HIR bulbs in the wife's RAV4 with OEM projector housing (cannot get brighter in halogen). I thought they were bright, until I parked my Taco next to it at night and lit up the pasture.
I took some comparison pics when I first got the Taco:
Minivan has Phillips H11 Vision Plus bulbs in reflector housing
RAV4 has Phillips 9011 HIR bulbs in projector housing
Taco is OEM LED

All pics are just low-beams (no fogs on the RAV4, so it is apples to apples comparison).

High Flying have been great for me since Feb 2022!

 

Got my High Flying sequential turn signals today.I’m down in Tenn. the next 2 weeks visiting our daughter. I’ll probably install them sometime over the next couple of days. I’ll install the LED headlights when I get home.

 

With stock halogen headlights and led daytime running lights, is a wiring harness needed to install the OEM LEDs for a 23’ Off-road?

 

Yes, I forget how many connectors are on the back of the halogen headlights, but the harness will take those connections and combine them into a single plug that connects to the back of the LED headlight.

Got the turn signals installed yesterday. Easy install, spent more time drinking beer than installing. Headlights next.

I ordered for Decatur Toyota in Alabama. It took about 4 to 5 weeks to receive them. They were crushed with orders. They were very good to deal with, great customer service. I would order from them again.

 

Started the install of the headlights today. Everything went good until it came to snapping the corner of the bumper back. Looks easy on the videos. Spent about 3 hours working on that corner, still don’t have it back correctly. The bottom corner is not fitting into place. Looks like the clip that the headlight bolt goes through is the problem. Plan to go at it tomorrow. Hope I have better luck. I will see how the other side goes back together tomorrow. It came apart easy like in the video. The problem side was a bitch to come apart.

I made two mistakes with mine which required a redo to get right.

 

Finished the install of my headlights today. Driver side went in no problems, just like in the video. Passenger side is in, but not happy with how the bumper fits. Bigger gap than I like. The bottom of the bumper does not fit flush and causes the fender guard to not fit flush against the fender. Dave, your wiring harness works perfectly. Great product.
I will post a picture of the fit. I don’t know why the one side went in no problem and the other side was a fight from the start.
