Zane you sunofabitch. Thanks man, I'm so excited to try this. Made my fucking day. Getting butt fucked at work and dealing with the divorce this made me feel so much better. Tamiya is one I've been saving up for to buy one of their kits as I am curious how they are. Thanks man.

Oh good it got there! You're very welcome! I'm glad to hear it brightened your day up a bit. I was looking at all the kits and a homologation car like that looked like it would be a badass build. I have one more for you next time we meet, I had a collection of Tamiya Toyotas as a kid and I know there's a BNIB kit (pretty sure it's an early 80s pickup) in the closet of my old room at my parents house I'll send ya too :) Excited to see how this one turns out.

So far it looks like it's made to not require paint, a couple different colors of plastics. The molds are excellent, I see great detail and minimum flashing compared to this 67 GTO I'm building. Must be ancient molds, took a lot of work to get the parts looking right.
    PXL_20231107_022521815.jpg

There's a whole string of Tamiya cars I have been eyeing and this was one of them. The NSX is probably one of the first ones to get looking at how nice this kit is.

Also I was so confused about the UPS updates figured "someone" was buying shit during our ceasefire uuuh I mean ceasespend.

Thanks man you did brighten my day.

@Tour991 so I got 2 tickets to the game on Thursday, thinking I might take my daughter with me for her first game. She can be really sensitive with loud noises though so it might be a disaster lol. Will have to bring her noise cancelling headphones we used to give her on flights when she was little. Seats are way up in the 300 level so it shouldn't be as bad as down low.

plus its a 730 game which is usually when she goes to bed....I might regret this but what the hell.

Do it! Definitely bring the noise cancelling headphones, the building is going to be loud.
One of two things is going to happen. She is going to love it be all into it and be wired all night. Or she's going to be board tired and fall asleep so you can watch the game. Does she show any interest when they are on TV?

Oh yeah, she always wants to watch with me when I put it on the computer at home. But about 4 minutes later she's bored and goes off to do something else lol.

I have a feeling she will most likely get really tired/bored midway through and either fall asleep or start throwing a huge fit and we'd have to leave, it's a toss up

I did get the green light from Rebecca to take her, which was the biggest concern because she's going to have to deal with her the next day if she doesn't sleep in

Gonna have to pony up for the good parking $$$ because no matter what, I know I'll be carrying her out when we leave and that kid is dense

Typical 5th Gen 4R in CA

Tinted AF windows, black OR wheels, black badging, nerf bars, gobi ladder, and roof rack

It's the soccer mom vehicle out here

Thread in the other forum - 'My windows are tinted 5%, love the look, can I use ditch lights in the city since it can be hard to see pedestrians'

Have you exceeded shit-to-flush ratios that you're needing an upgrade?

Yeah that'll be tough on your wife if she doesn't sleep. If I was closer, I'd take that extra ticket off your hand. Make it easy for you. Where do you usually like to park? I like the convention center parking as opposed to one of those ghetto little parking lots where my catalytic converter may be gone when it comes back.

most games I've gone to in recent years have been with a buddy of mine that gets really good tickets from his work at times, so we park near his bar and usually Uber or just walk over to the arena. Last time I think I parked in the Staples lot, which I'll probably do again

But yeah, parking in downtown LA you gotta be smart about it. Only covered or well enclosed lots, never street parking if you value your ride.
