Hey guys I have a 1996 Tacoma base it has a basic 3“ inch lever kit 2” in the back, Question for you guys, what shocks do you Recommend I want fox shocks but don’t know if it’s worth it, debating between kings, fox, bilstein, truck rides like a dump truck want a smooth ride on streets, do medium 4x4 trails in the summer, any recommendations is it worth big bucks for kings or fox? Or are bilstein just as good? Thank you guys

I don't think the FOX or Kings will ride good cranked to 3" of lift. So in my opinion, it's not worth the extra money if you plan to stay at 3".

A "3 inch" spacer is not a leveling kit.

Ditch the spacer and get some 5100s with 881s.

What kinda lift in the back? I'd suggest a 1.5" AAL over a block lift, again with the 5100s for lifted applications.

1.5" of lift is plenty. Anything over that just rides like garbage.
