I think I'd rather move more bags of soil than polish that motor

Tomorrow is take Giz back to the vet and hope they have power so she can get spayed.... then to keep her on a leash for a week

That is is SMALL and already pretty shiny, compared to the old 2800 I am trying to clean up! Good luck with Gizmo! Sounds like you get some walkies this week, like it or not!

Welcome back. I have the same problem after a 3-day holiday. ;)

Good morning, off to the ear doctor for a hearing test. Have to be on the DC beltway at 7am.

Good morning all. Back to work following vacation and a few days off with Covid. Out of vacation time and don't get sick leave so I can't afford to be off any linger than necessary. Thankfully I work in a small enough office that I can remain distant from others and limit interactions to emails or texting if I need to deal with anyone. Of course the hits just keep coming. Last night enjoying a piece of leftover Halloween candy when I felt/heard a crunch. Spit it out onto a napkin and found a piece of my crown so now I have that to deal with. This getting older shit sucks.

So sorry to hear this Chuck. Sometimes as you get older it seems you take a good step forward and something pops up (or out) and it's 2 steps back . Hope it's not too serious.

Good Morning Everyone, Have a Great Day!

I sometimes forget a lot of you guys live in/ by large metro areas. I think when some talk about hunting and fishing you guys must have to travel 40 plus miles, To do so. Stay safe

@BkerChuck sorry to hear about the tooth, my dentist retired this year so I going to miss him as a dentist. He is also a highschool classmate so I won't lose touch. We had an understanding I didn't do crowns and if the teeth were bad pull them. I got my dad's teeth, when he went into the army in '39 the pulled them and he got dentures, all his family had them. My sister has uppers my brother got Mom's she kept hers. We had that discussion that some dental problems are hereditary but can be delayed. I'm missing about 5.
    Glad you are feeling better.

Anyone here see this on their local news or Evening news ??? . Seeing the North Hangar burn down at the old MCAS Tustin base was very sad to watch . Even though I was stationed at MCAS El Toro from 1982-84 just a few miles away I was at LTA Tustin alot during active duty in the US Marines

These Hangars are 17 stories tall and over 1k ft long and were built in 1942 . They're also listed as historical Civil engineering wooden structures

Thanks @US Marine, I wandered around there a bit back in the mid to late 1970s and remember that hanger well.

    morning boys

Giz dropped off and I have to take Zoie for blood work (to see if she can withstand surgery :( @ 12 1/2) when I pick Giz up. Gonna be a :spending: day. If it's not us needing to see a doc, then it's the doggos.

I've been wondering whilst the pharmaceutical companies could identify what the big C virus is and developed these test kits, it's strange they don't go for the bigger fish by creating the virus killer :notsure:
Hope y'all get better soon.

    Afternoon all:

Shame for that hanger burning, hopefully it wasn't due to arson. :(

Darn, must be getting soft , had a small doe in the crosshairs this morning and didn't pull the trigger, it's not quite crunch time yet! Saw 5 deer today, jumped a small buck walking in, the small doe, and 3 others that I don't know what they were, at least I found a place where I'm seeing deer almost every day, there is hope!
