Does my axle look like it's not sitting correct?

I was inspecting my truck after getting some work done on it today. I noticed that on the passenger side my axle sits flush with the housing but on the driver side there seems to be some play. Does this look normal? I thought I felt some vibrations coming from that side.

The axle will slide in and out some.
Take your hand and pull out and push in on the axle.
It will move in and out. The driver side seems to move in and out more.
So your findings are probably 100% normal. They both wont always be in/out the same amount.

I did notice there was some play in them. On the drivers side, there is still a gap when pushed in. It doesnt move much further in than the picture above. The other side there isn't even a gap at all when pulled out so I was unsure. It seems like it's probably fine but I was unsure how tight those tolerances are supposed to be..

^Did you think Toyota builds trucks with tight tolerances?

I don't know what I expected from my first Toyota truck. I know I didn't expect to have to get my timing chain cover resealed at 8500 miles. I know the front differential was removed, which is why I was curious if this looks normal. Yes my profile picture is of an airborne hilux.

Loosen your lug nuts and torque them to spec. I was suspect they didn’t talk them. They installed them with the impact unevenly
