Tracking a new 23 Tacoma

    Toyota tracker does not work with my vin number . I hate to bother the sales guy everyweek.
    Is there anyone on here that has the ability to track progress ? Thank you

    This question seems to get asked more and more.

    Short answer, no, the toyota tracker doesn't have the accuracy of a pizza tracker. I think it was a foolish idea to even provide that service, there's no realistic way to get it to work. There are a lot of steps in the logistics chain, there are an awful lot of hands involved. Sometimes these things sit in vast staging lots waiting for the next load-out and transport leg, sometimes someone far away from the eyes of any customer can't be bothered to scan every vehicle into the system.

    Have patience, its still on its way. I'd still recommend bothering your sales guy on a weekly basis, its good to just check in and remind the dealer that you are still alive. It keeps you on their mind and it reminds them that they still have an ongoing transaction with you.
