I noticed some drops of something under my truck. Turns out its coolant. I am not entirely sure where the leak is coming from, but I think the hose maybe? Hopefully the entire radiator doesn't need to be replaced. I read a couple posts of people saying to check the radiator cap, but I dont see any residue on or around the cap. Its all focused in the area in the attached pic.

2nd question is, is it ok to drive on this for a little while until I can fix it, granted I keep it topped off?

Small leak is fine to keep driving as long as you’re making sure it isn’t losing too much.

It may be the hose clamp on the large black hose at that spot or leaking down from the cap when under pressure.

It could also be leaking from the hose that goes from right under the cap to the overflow reservoir.

is it ok to just remove the hose clamp, clean and refill? I assume there is coolant in there at all times

As others suggested, I would clean the area thoroughly and try to pinpoint where the leak is coming from. I just replaced my OEM radiator a couple of years ago (it was 11 years old) and my radiator started with a slow leak where the plastic sides meet with the aluminum center. Within a couple of hours, it grew large enough to lose a gallon+ of fluid. This doesn't look like it could be as detrimental as my experience, but if the leak is from the plastic where the hose connects, I would replace it sooner than later.

I’d leave the hose on and don’t touch it for now. Get in there with some water and a toothbrush and rag to wipe down enough to confirm where it is leaking. Then you can proceed with a fix.

Thanks all, just topped her off and will get in there and clean it up later to better pinpoint the problem. I'll report back my findings within a week since I dont drive a ton anymore.
