Can you provide more details on what you bought and installed? OEM? Aftermarket? Did you replace only the screen?

Definitely need more info.. I didn't think the OEM headunit had any serviceable parts in it. But then again I never looked into it too much

Help us out here.. can you give us the exact link for your touch screen? So you disassembled the head unit to only replace the touch screen? What was wrong with the previous one? Did not turn on? Was not detecting touch?

It is in your best interest you provide the utmost detail.

I know the screen of which you speak. I replaced the screen on my daughter's Corolla last year and saw the same type of thing available for our Tacos.
You'll need to pull the head unit again and verify that you got all of the traces snapped shut.
That's about all I can think of for now. My daughter's has worked fine ever since the swap. I think it was $20 well spent.
Pull it, pop the traces, inspect for location/placement and re-close. Let us know if this fixes it.
