Pre Painted Parts

My son is driving my 06 Tacoma these days and we are doing the front end conversion over Thanksgiving break. The paint shop seemed to think that I could order some parts (from Toyota?) pre-painted (truck is Radiant Red). I did not find this to be true.

The parts in question are the headlight fillers. Wondering if someone might know of a source… I have tried car-part.com but no luck so far. Thanks in advance.

 

I got mine off rock auto for super cheap and I didn't see a difference from my dad's original OEM's when I compared them. They were shiny black and I had a shop paint them at the same time as my fenders. Good Luck!

 

If I'm understanding your situation correctly, you're looking for the late 2nd gen style front headlight fillers in Radiant Red? If so, then I don't think they exist in that color. The Tacoma stopped coming out in Radiant Red after 2008, or before the new style front was available. My suggestion is to buy one and paint it.

 

You can get headlight fillers in colors I think. I lost one and my girlfriend bought me a replacement. It was silver. My truck is white. I painted it and the other filler black.
