PA peeps/wannabes/citizens. WTF is up with this weather? Almost 70 yesterday, we'll be lucky to hit 50 today. I took advantage of it to do the wet part of mucking out the pond; the pond looked cleaner but I was covered in goo. But not freezing!

I know right? I went down to vote yesterday and pulled into an almost empty lot. 30 seconds later it was almost full. I waited several minutes in line, then several more for a machine to open up. Poll workers said it was the busiest they had been all day. Just my luck I guess!

Paper ballots for us as well, which I actually trust. I’ve gotten a receipt every time with exception of 2020

 

I had an interview years ago where they said to dress in business casual, I showed up in a dress shirt and tie (no jacket) just to be sure I was covered. The interviewer gave me grief about being overdressed.

I finished the interview and then turned down the job. Started a new job a few months later and after a couple years in the position I found that interviewers name on some project files. Turns out he used to work for my new company as the head of my department and was an absolute nightmare to work for.

Dodged a bullet following my instincts.

 

Receipts ? I've never gotten a receipt .

 

We still do the machine. It will read on the screen your ballot has been sent. I can't recall from the paper ballot days if we got a receipt. I don't think so.

 

I staple that receipt to my daily calendar…

Morning guys, I was MIA for a while cause I got busy at work and didn't have the time to pop in. I will say I may not be around too much longer though as I may be trading my Tacoma in for an Audi Q7. Family is growing again by one and I need something with a 3rd row. I'll still probably pop in from time to time though.

Anyone in York County have a contact that could look at a couple silos on the property I'm trying to buy? I want an experienced eye to tell me if they are reasonably-sound. The home/property inspector i've hired as part of the purchase doesn't do Silos, but will check the barns, etc.

They're behind the barn, close to the property line - I don't have a good photo of them otherwise - they look to be 50ft tall or so.

good morning all. So tired. Found out about some emergency training down at the PHL airport yesterday. Schedules for yesterday, today and tomorrow have become:

Full days (and evenings) of training, then have to get to the PHL airport to do training for package screeners from 11pm to 3am. morning training classes start at 8am. ughhhhhh......
