Hello everyone. First time poster, long time lurker. I’ve tried many searches to find out the answer to my question but haven’t had any luck getting a specific or definitive answer. Also, I hope I’m posting this in the correct place.

I recently decided to take advantage of the trade in value for my ‘15 SR5. My ‘21 TRD OR DCSB is arriving at the dealer this Friday. I’m looking at wheel options and have narrowed it down to SCS BR6 wheels 16x8 with a -12mm offset wrapped with 265/75r16 ATs. I’m going to be running stock suspension for the time being until my warranty runs out. When that does run out, I’m thinking of doing a 2” lift.

My question is using that setup what am I looking at with rubbing issues? I know the tires will fit but I have read that that offset will cause rubbing issues and I’ve read that it won’t. I know I’ll be taking the flaps off as soon as I get home to make more room.

Also if it helps, I use my truck mostly for camping trips off the beaten path some, no serious or sketchy trails where I’d be concerned about seriously damaging my truck.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Did you ever figure this out? Have a 2023 TRD OR DCLB and looking to run 16x8 with -10 offset and the same size tires.
