First decent snow of the season this AM. Watched two people put themselves in the ditch before rhe hwy and got blockaded on the (plowed clean and salted) highway by a guy pulling a HUGE trailer with a Taco doing 20, and FL plates matching him in the left lane.

Got to where I was going (assembling cabinets for an old lady who is $$$$$$$ in the hole to scammers and shitbags on home renno)... Instructions worse than useless. Tracked down the OEM for the house label cabinets and their info for installers is wayyyyy out of date. Took two hours to figure out how the drawer hardware even worked, weirdass soft close telescoping rails I've never seen anything like. Yuck.

You find that they usually have parts on hand or have to order them? I've been going up to Lexington Toyota just for convenience but the parts dude has no idea what anything is and has to order everything...

I just order from the parts desk at Olathe Toyota in KS - their parts people are extremely helpful (more than once they've spent a long time on the phone looking at diagrams and cross referencing for a $4 sale) and there aren't many nickels left to shave off the prices even shipped from KS.

Ehh, some stuff. Huge repair shop so that kind of stuff but if you order early, by 9, usually have it by 3 the same day.

Since there is no way I'm getting the Tacoma sorted this winter, I need to get it, and the stupid duty over to you ASAP.

Boch has been hit or miss for me. I have placed an order with them a couple times and heard crickets. Then they finally contacted me with an order cancel but no reason why the order was canceled. Other times I have ordered and received the parts quickly. And they let me order brake lines online then told me that they would not ship them because they could not guarantee the condition on arrival. Makes sense to me but if you know you don't ship brake lines why let people buy them online? And I think they used to let you order online at a discount then pick the parts up at the dealership but I don't think they allow that any longer.

And finally, sometimes I search the internet for the best prices for Toyota parts and I will find some dealers have good pricing but their shipping is way too high. So if you go the internet route double check the shipping costs before paying.
