Leveling kit, wheel spacers, personally fabricated modified frame, and some sweet diamond plate to cover up a smashed driver side! Because I was stupid
I don’t know how many of y’all from Jacksonville have heard of “North Florida Off Road” in Callahan? It hasn’t been there but 2 years I think. Ill get a quote from them and post it just to see how they compare.

Do these kits really need to be installed by a 4x4 lift specialist? Or can a regular mechanic do it? I'm having a tough time finding a place. I think the alignment part is the more important part.

In theory, any one with the tools and basic mechanical knowledge should be able to do it....however, some bad experiences/stories have been posted on TW. I think a regular mechanic and some youtube videos should be able to install these kits.

Agreed, anyone with a a little mechanicical inclination would be able to watch a few videos and basic tool can install their own equip. I just redid mine in driveway.

Got a $1,440 quote (+tax) for the install of an AccuTune stage 1 set and alignment. That was a bit of a gut punch. I understand it's Seattle-area so it's likely going to end up on the higher end but still. Woof. Getting more quotes for now.

If anyone’s in the Chicago area, I’ll do it for 1/2 what a shop will…. But youre on your own for the alignment

Man I started off on the first page and was seeing $400-500s and you come out just 15 years later and you have to add at least a thousand to it

I need to move back to ca and open up a shop. I’d be willing to do front and rear shocks, leaf pack, and UCAs for $350 and be happy about it

Just paid $1110 on my lift install.
Pre-assembled 6112/5160, OME Dakar leafs, archive garage bump stops, and diff drop
Also took care of a few other things while they had it.
