My question is once the assembly is properly centered is there the possibility of becoming un-centered from normal driving because of lack of hub support? There didn't seem to be any vibration at 30-40 mph until I hit the highway 5 miles later then it seemed all hell broke loose.

@greyeyezz with proper installation, clamping force and torque, the wheel assembly should not move/shift unless the wheel is coming loose. The difference in disturbance at higher speed suggest out of balance or not being centered to begin with. With the history of your vehicle, your appointment tomorrow should yield some explanation for your ride disturbance. Please let us know how it turns out.

We pulled one of the wheels off and fit it over the hub and it moved around about a millimeter so no way a ring is going to work. They ended up putting my old rims back on, transferring TP sensors and rebalance in a hour and a half and they were swamped. Pretty good CS I'd say. Drives smooth as glass again.

Do your research when buying rims. I would never order rims online again.
