Scored lockable hard tonneau that matches my Taco blanco for a great price off of Austin Craigslist. I posted my old soft roll up Truxedo cover on Craig’s but if anyone is in the Austin area & has a 6 foot bed, it’s yours for free! Happy Veterans Day!

Looks great! Love mine. I just wish it opened a little farther.

Can you drive with it up like that (if you had something large back there)?

I dont think I would drive around with it up, probably better just to take it off. It seems to pop off pretty easy/quickly and has hooks and holes to hang it in garage.

Would you be able to remove it and put it back by yourself? I'm seriously debating going this route for tonneau cover but will need to be able to remove it on occasion.

It isnt heavy, just bulky. I would use two people just so it doesn't get scratched up.

I'm short but my friend who is about 5'10" can do it pretty easily, just need the wingspan and strength to maneuver it off. I've done it a few times myself in a pinch by putting cardboard down and letting one side onto it.

Yeah, two people is best. I've already scratched mine a few times... I've also messed up the hooks that the pistons hang from when not in use...:D

I've left mine up, less than half way, for short non-highway trips. You just need to be sure there's no pressure centered in any one spot from the under side.
My wife and I ( we're both short and over 60) have lifted mine off and on a couple of times. As was said, its not heavy, just bulky and awkward.
