I have a 2005 Taco with 250k+ miles and looking for a new ride to continue exploring Colorado. I’m thinking AWD van or going with a 6ft bed taco and a camper shell to keep the bike safe. I’d like to keep my ARB fridge and solar and add a pop up tent. Any ideas on a camper shell that can accommodate?

I'd guess pretty much all of them. Remove the front wheel for more options.

I would suggest if you plan to put a platform to sleep on you get a cap that is raised and not level with the cab. I have a level one and I could use the extra inches when trying to sit up in the back.

Here's a great thread, I'm sure some included a Mtn Bike in the set-up.

I've purchased a wedge camper and once it's finished being built and installed I'll have a lot more options.

I can sleep in my 6' camper shell, with my bike also inside, so you could certainly fit a fridge in there instead of sleeping.
It is a cab height shell, so tall enough for me to sit comfortably. YMMV.
I would think any fiberglass camper shell, with appropriate mounting, would work to support a RTT.

All depends on your budget. You could do a standard shell of your choice and choose your tent to stick on top, or go big with a GFC or similar shell with a build in tent.

Or did you mean a ground tent you haul around?
