Just bought my first tacoma and looking to get a full suspension lift. First thought was the trd 3.5in, but I just found out that they're not compatible w double cab 6ft beds... Does anybody know of a full suspension lift kit between 3.5-6in that doesn't cause any significant warranty voids? If any at all? Thanks in advance.

Generally anything over 3" won't be possible without cutting your frame for a drop bracket. The only way around that is to max out your CV angles with a lot of preload on adjustable coilovers (bad) and stack some big spacers on top of them (also bad). If you do both of these to go over 3", you're going to go through CVs very fast. If you're after big lift, your going to have to chop your frame.

A lift (even one requiring frame modification) will not void your entire truck's warranty. What it can do though is void certain parts of the warranty on parts directly affected by the lift.
So... If you put a shock lift on the front and max out your CVs and stuff, you might potentially be denied warranty on your control arm bushings, ball joints, and possibly your steering rack if it leaks (the needle bearing in your front differential is a likely failure, and would likely be denied as well). You will NOT be denied warranty on, say, your radio head unit, fuel system, or any paint/body/interior concerns, as examples. Even your engine is relatively safe if you're not running huge gigantic tires, which technically that would not even matter anyway if you are regeared for the tires, though some service advisors won't be able to understand that, so it's a risk that comes with any modifications. Accordingly, warranty will also be voided on the axles too if you're regeared, but if you have the gears done by a shop, you may have some recourse with the shop who installed them if there's an issue.

Also IIRC, the TRD lift is 1.5" (not 3.5). I do not see why it would not fit a DCLB, however Toyota certainly doesn't want people installing it on DCLBs for some reason (why I'm not sure).

Going for a lift that big will require substantial work to be done. If you're good with that, fire away! Any aftermarket lift not validated by Toyota will void warranty on items associated with/affected by the lift. Usually people try and keep lifts to 2-3" so you don't have to mess with a lot of the extra headache (still voids warranty though). Any Toyota sanctioned lift installed at the dealership should keep warranty and may be the way to go if you want to keep the powertrain/driveline warranty for example and still achieve a lift.
