1st gen led issues

Will led bulbs damage a 1st gen Taco electrical system?

 

What type and for what purpose?

 

No.

 

I’m thinking dome, map and all rear exterior lights except license plate.

 

Every light except the headlights in my 2000 reg cab has been LED since about 2013-2014. LEDs draw significantly less power than incandescent bulbs. They cause no issues. If you do the signals, then you have to get an electronic flasher relay instead of the factory load based relay. They aren't expensive.
