    Got a kestrel 5700 elite with AB. I still prefer Sterlok. Try to get it through the huawei app store.
    Hornady 4dof was an option but just terrible ui

    Upper platform at the range Saturday. This one reaches out to 1380. 6.5 cm was running about 50% hit rate. Not great but a shifting wind was messing with me causing horizontal miss. Target is a full size steel ipsc 20231104_101824.jpg 20231104_102723.jpg

    Means you were over 9 inches off on call. Which is like only .25 mils ( not moa).


    In a similar condition, try timing the shot in the high wind if it’s a long peak gust, or in the pause if it’s a long calm. Helps with hit percentage if you’re not on a timer.

    Imo that’s why the kestrel is such a good tool, with the avg/high data.

    It will make sense to use your kestrel when you get laser range finding binos and you can 1 tap for an instant solution

    Wind is the great equalizer! The nightforce elr match in June is a blast! This past year's match we had about 30 mph gusts when we got to the 2300 yard target lol
