I didn't realise I was on a non motorized trail. It all looked good on Gaia

I'm cross referencing Gaia as well as the official federal sources, in this case USFS (US Forest Service), which is what I linked to.

Either way, get out safely, leave the truck and hike out if you need help or it's not safe to stay with the truck.

Post some pictures after you're all out safely with the truck!

Pace yourself, eat, if you are alone you can tire easily and then risk injury

It's only about a 150 yard hike to the nearest road (the trace). The trail up to the point that I got stuck in was actually pretty easy, until that happened. I got a gas stove, food, water. The whole shebang. I'm ok. I called a couple of restaurants and they have no idea if what to do. I guess maybe I'll call a tow truck service.

If you have a better location, post up the coordinates. As of right now, I've got you here on the USFS MVUM (off trail) in the center of the X:
    36.72374, -88.04178

And I'm measuring closer to 1/5 of a mile from where you are west to the highway. - way more than 150yd.

I've got you as 703 m, 2306 ft directly east of the Trace. And that's with ascending about 100' of elevation.

I called a towing service. They'll be here in a couple of hours (hopefully). They quoted 250, but it's might be more if there's anything special, I guess.

I just have to wait for them.
I think it'll be ok. I might be back on the road in about 3 hours.

I'm heading back to the truck for now, and coming back out at 5:30 to get an update from the tire company. I'll update you guys as well.
    Thank you everyone!!!

It's didn't feel like that long of a hike.

I'm with you on this. Looks like OP is a quarter mile up a hiking trail. The offroad recovery volunteer organization in my area wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole. I hope all the best for the OP, but if it gets bad, I'd suggest just calling the local Sheriff admitting you screwed up and need help. Up here, they could give access to said volunteer organization to go into the area. Obviously different rules in different places, but being safe should be #1 priority.

    Looks like this got resolved.

Looks like only 2 miles down the road from the ohv registration desk, which does have a few recovery resources listed, and should have been visited to pay a usage fee prior to wheeling... They also have a nice georeferenced map that will prevent future confusion.

Looks like you started a thread looking for info last night but got no replies.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
    You out?

That ditch is nothing compared to some places that could have got you stuck at LBL. Lot of fire roads at various levels (or lack) of maintenance and in general poorly marked trails/roads last time i was there. Deep and/or super slick mud holes and off camber deep ruts around LBL too.

To end up on something that is just forest access path or cemetary access or otherwise not really a "road" is an easy mistake.

I just got into and area where I could stop. The tow guy finally found me around 1am. He winched me out, and then drove out the way I came in. This guy was awesome! He really worked hard to get to me. That past was the easiest part. I drove to the nearest campground, parked the truck, put the seat back, and went to sleep.

This morning I rearranged the bed and the cab because everything goes launched forward when I went into the hole. I just got to an area with a signal, and that's why I didn't update you guys earlier.

Thankfully it's only cosmetic damage, and now it's time to start saving up for that high clearance bumper.

    Thank you everyone!!!

Dang, glad you are alright and your airbags didn’t pop on you!

I wasn’t trying to get you in trouble or anything with the off trail stuff, I just wanted to make sure we had your location right for someone to find you.
