First and foremost - I am not a mechanic.

I had Bilstein 5100’s installed on my stock 2022TRD Sport DCSB along with 255/80R17 on the stock wheels. The shop that put the 5100’s on then took it to be aligned and for whatever reason the Toyota Dealership doing the alignment said they could not get it to align correctly. They were saying the suspension components were at their limits of adjustability, whatever that meant.

I was told that if I put new UCAs on the truck it would allow more adjustability. I had that done and then took it to get an alignment again….no adjustability. Truck still pulls to the right. New Poly Performance UCAs, 5100’s and no one can get this thing to align correctly. Someone give me some ideas about WTH is ring.IMG_1824.jpg

How much lift did you go with in the front?

The dealer may not know how to make adjustments outside the normal spec(stock suspension). Dealers can be hit or miss when it comes to aftermarket stuff.

I would recommend trying a reputable alignment shop in your area.

You have a fairly common and basic set up that should have no alignment issues.

1.5” - I have taken it to a dealership after just the 5100s and then a local shop that everyone raves about….neither were able to get it to track straight.

That's weird. With only 1.5 inches of lift you shouldn't need upper control arms.

Can you post your alignment sheet?

tell the shop to max out your caster numbers while keeping the camber and toe numbers in factory spec. no reason they shouldnt be able to do this unless they dont know how

He shouldn't have needed upper control arms in the first place for only 1.5 inches of lift. Someone is feeding him bad info.

Unfortunately the sheet went in the garbage at the hands of a family member who remains nameless (no one owned up to throwing it away).

The guy at the alignment shop said he maxed that out, but for some reason it is still pulling to the right. He had it up on the rack multiple times. If anyone in the Annapolis area is reading this, can you recommend a decent alignment shop???

Pulling or drifting? Big difference when talking alignment. A pull mean you let go of the wheel and you are headed to the ditch. Drift means you can let go of the wheel to grab your phone and you might end up heading toward the ditch. A pull is from caster being lower on the right side. Drift comes from caster being closer to zero. With only an inch and a half lift and new UCAs, you caster should be very high.

In any case, you need to post the printout before anyone can really suggest anything because it is all guessing without knowing. Some shops will check for free.

NTB usually has decent alignment techs, but can't promise.

Are your tires cooper discoverer st maxx? It’s been a well reported issue with a lot of people on here that they can cause a pull to the right. Happens to my truck too.

Someone doesn’t have a clue, I replaced all my old shocks with 5100 all the way around. I also went with just wanting it leveled , got the alignment. I can turn loose of my steering and it’s goes perfectly straight.
Could be they are just guessing at your alignment without actually doing it.
