Hey everyone. My 04 chrome rear bumper has a huge rust spot right in the middle. Its bulging pretty bad. Cant seem to find a genuine replacement anywhere near me. My questions are:
    1. Anyone have a good lead on an actual replacement?
    2. If they're too hard to find anyone have any strong recommendations for a clone (chrome style) from one of those third party? I see tons of them, just no idea about quality.
    Thanks!

I can't speak to their bumpers, but I got a set of tail lights that were perfectly fine. They ship quickly also. Plenty of members here have used Rockauto.

If my rear bumper looked like yours, I'd be all over ordering one from them, but that's me.

You're not wrong.... Its pretty bad, and the rest of the truck looks great which makes THAT even worse.

While I think there are parts where buying OEM is highly recommended (ball joints, sensors, etc...), the bumper just isn't one of them. Is it going to last another 20+ years? doubt it, but they're cheap and easy to install. It's not like lower control arms or something where it costs $1000 for labor. A new cheap bumper has got to be better than a failed and rusting OEM bumper...
