The leading / front edge of the roof molding on my Tacoma is coming up. The first inch and a half or so.
I am to blame because I removed the original for a roof rack. I have removed the rack and now want to go back to the molding. I used Gorilla Double Sided tape but the front is acting up.
This is not rocket science I don't think.
What is a fixit and forget it solution?

    Thanks.

What ever they use to glue the windshield in has been holding mine down for about 10 years now.
The guy at safelite glued it back down for me when he put a windshield in my truck.
I've been through carwashes and everything. So far, so good.

New moulding, yours might have shrunk.

Might need to pull it up and re-lay it in the ditch favoring the front a hair more. It doesn’t install with any glue or tape that I could see when I installed my rack. Just some metal that engages it at the front/back and the fins that press into the ditch channels.

Front of the molding has a ridge built in it that has to click into the metal roof mounted holder that has a slot in it. As above you may be off on location as front should have been installed first and you need to feel that ridge click into the slot. If all else fails shot some black silicon seal in to hold it down and tape/weight it down for several hours to ensure it sets. If your molding is bent up in the front some heat applied may help it lay down to install.
