yakima hd longbed sidebars

i got impatient when i saw alot of back-orders for these, so i went with REI, and they won't be in till oct 7, and had an added $30 shipping charge . . . oh well.

but, they're coming back in stock, like on etrailer.com:

i've got 62 3/8" between my uprights, and the shortbed sidebars don't fit. even if they did, it would have been FULL extension, and that felt a little wobbly to me. so, long it is!

 

so, the tonneau cover kit comes with 2 locking posts, and i just wanted to add 2 more to the other side -- what a run-around that's been. i think i've now got 4 of the locking bolts designed for the bed rail mount. just got off a chat with yakima, and they're supposed to be just sending me the locking "pin" part now -- guess we'll see in a few weeks! really like the overhaul HD though.
