Shocks and struts

I'm gonna be replacing my shocks and struts on my 2017 Trd Sport Tacoma. I just want some good ones, not looking to break the bank. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I'm leaning towards Bilstein 5100's for about 4-$500. Thanks!

 

"Some good ones" means different things to different people. So does "break the bank." If you search this forum you'll find lots of answers.

If you have everything stock and plan to keep it that way, you could always check the classified ads for a zero/low mile set that someone else has taken off to do their own upgrades. This is common and possibly the most cost effective if you can swing it.

Bilsten 5100s are a common option that I would call OEM+. For some people that is enough. Bilstein 6112s/5160s would be another option with a bit more performance but certainly cost more.

Dobinsons is probably the next step up, though they do have OEM+ options all the way up to high performance. Exit Offroad can help you out there.

I don't feel anything else is worth mentioning because those are the basic best options and everything else either won't be anything better than what I mentioned or will "break the bank." Good luck.
