I purchased a 2022 Tacoma a few months ago. So far I've replaced the speakers and added a subwoofer. I also put sound deadening in the doors and behind the back seat. I've lived in the mountains all my life but up to this point, 4x4 was for getting around in the snow. I'm looking forward to learning about off road activities. Any suggestion on a first place to go?.

    Hi.

If you provide your location you can get some more tailored result's.

I'd recommend "Wolf Den State Park" for a first time, but if that's 20 hours from where you live...

Go to an "Overland Expo" near you. I went to the one in Arrington, VA this year at it was worth every penny for being able to see all of the private rigs in the campgrounds, talk to the owners, meet vendors and most importantly, get ideas for gear and possible modifications to my truck.

Also new to offroading, live in the SoCal high desert so lots of dirt roads and desert trails. Good advice I got was to take it easy and go slow while feeling the truck out and learning what mods you need.
