Saw this clean T-100 at the mall

 

Noticed my transfer case leaking at the rear output shaft at just 47k. I had to replace the extension housing shaft seal.

Compared to earlier Tacomas, the output shaft and companion flange are both larger on the turd gen's VF2CM transfer case. That leaves a smaller gap around the output shaft for the seal puller. I also had to hunt for a seal driver. The standard-size steel and PVC pipes mentioned in YouTube videos for earlier trucks are too small for this application.



The seal driver is a 1-1/2" NPTF "Poly Cam-Lock Coupler" sold at Princess, made from a tough fiberglass-reinforced plastic similar to the oil filter cap. The unthreaded end happens to fit the seal. The coupler's billet cam arms are easily driven out with a punch.

we're gonna pull off a heist or set up a pyramid scheme and have it all funnel the cash through the club in the form of donations. wash it squeeky clean as we're non-profit.

dump it into FB Market place for mods for the clubs. There was that one guy selling $8k in yakima stuff for like $4k. so it wouldn't be unreasonable to get a full 40" tire set from somewhere like kijiji

 

do we just do the "chase the Grinch" thing the Milton guys did? a conga line of trucks with lightbars and flashing lights for like 3km?

 

What are the requirements to be a chase truck?

 

wheels (minimum 1), frame (of some sorts), body (optional), and an engine (also optional)
