Noticed my transfer case leaking at the rear output shaft at just 29k miles. I had to replace the extension housing shaft seal.

Compared to earlier Tacomas, both the output shaft and companion flange are larger on the turd gen's VF2CM transfer case. That leaves a smaller gap around the output shaft for the seal puller. I also had to hunt for a seal driver. The standard-size steel and PVC pipes mentioned in YouTube videos for earlier trucks are too small for this application.

The seal driver is a 1-1/2" NPTF "Poly Cam-Lock Coupler", made from a tough fiberglass-reinforced plastic similar to the oil filter cap. The unthreaded end happens to fit the seal. The coupler's billet cam arms are easily driven out with a punch.

Transfer Extension Housing Seal P/N 90311-45034
    Transfer Output Rear Shaft O-Ring P/N 90301-31003
Transfer Output Rear Companion Flange Nut P/N 90179-24011
    Seal driver Powerfist P/N 8154304

^Dialed in? Did you adjust tire pressures to your liking?

I used plastic oval plugs 60mmx20mm beware it gave me worse fuel mileage due to drag coefficient resistance .

Was looking into getting the Blitz eventually. How are you liking it? Does the bull bar mess with the TSS at all (I installed the pro grill on mine too)? On their site they reccomend against it, but I figure that's for liability reasons.

Put it on your windows and it’s like ludicrous speed in a light rain without wipers. Put it on your wheels and the brake dust falls off with some water pressure . It can withstand ridiculous heat too. I put it on a pair of rubber gloves, like lotion, and massage it into my exhaust pipes keep things from rusting so quickly.
