The crossmember hasn't anything to do with this issue, it's the shocks themselves conflicting with the lift (like someone said, a shock with a taller stem on the bottom might've avoided this).

Plenty of good suggestions have been given...
I second the suggestion to simply try driving it without the sway bar... It's free, and only takes maybe 5 minutes to remove both end links / put them back on.
One thing you will notice right away is a smoother ride (less side-side rocking when you hit bumps one front wheel at a time). Yes, there will be some more body lean, but is it too much? (I didn't think so with mine off).

If you do find that you don't like it, then take a hacksaw to the end of the bolt and whack it off flush with the nut. That'll gain you 5/16", maybe 3/8" more clearance on each side right away, based on your pic.

For a thinner nut, look for what is called a "Jam Nut" at a hardware store or other vendor, they're about 2/3 the thickness of a regular nut (take the nut off yours with you so you can match up the thread if needed). You could also just grind yours down so it's thinner, just don't take off more than 30-40% of it's thickness so you don't compromise strength too much.

To shim it is to place a washer or two on the opposite side so that when you tighten the nut, the thread doesn't stick out so far (or at all) from the nut.

Wow thank you for your detailed advice really appreciate it! I’m going to trim the bolt and buy a new nut and call it a day
